SHAMROCK card

I have many fond memories of St. Patrick's Day.  Like GREEN mashed potatoes and brown gravy, or home made pizza with GREEN cheese.  Let's not forget the GREEN milk my mother served!  WHY???  My parents were married on St. Patrick's Day! LOL!

First I cut paper and adhered with Dot Adhesive Runner to a pre-made white card.  Next I cut a piece of ribbon attached with Dot Adhesive Runner attach across the card.

I cut 3 hearts out of lime green paper using the SU EMBOSSLITS "SCALLOPED HEART OF HEARTS".  I inked the edges of the hearts with COLOR BOX "Lime" green ink.

I added one circle POP DOT to the back of each heart.

I free hand cut out a STEM for the Shamrock.  I inked the sides of the stem with COLOR BOX "Lime" green ink.  I attached the Shamrock stem with POP UP strips.

I stamped "HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY"sentiment from the SU "TEENY TINY WISHES" stamp set.   I used SU WORD WINDOW punch to cut out the words "Happy St. Patrick's Day".  I used SU MODERN LABEL punch for the green background paper.

I used SU Stampin Spot in "GARDEN GREEN" to ink the sentiment for the inside card.  The stamp is an Irish saying.  I purchased this stamp at Archivers.

If heaven had an address, I'd send this card to my parents for their anniversary!  Enjoy!

That's a beautiful card you've made for your parents, who are waltzing -- or perhaps doing the Irish jig?! -- in Heaven. You can consider this card loved and well-received, for the address for your beloved parents is: "Jenny's Heart, c/o Fond Memories, Loving Wishes Forever, Heaven 317X♥"
